Belimo R417 – 2-way control valve

A characterised control valve for open and closed water systems. The characterised disc provides an equal-percentage flow characteristic. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator.

Key technical data

• Pattern: 2-way; DN 20; PN 40.
• Pipe connection: G 1 1/4" male thread, in accordance with ISO 228-1.
• Kvs: 4 m³/h; ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Medium: water, water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Flow characteristic: equal-percentage; permissible leakage: bubble-tight, leakage class A.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.
• Angle of rotation: 90°; operating range: 15...90°.

Installation instructions

Permissible installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem. Installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. Observe the direction of flow indicated by the arrow on the body.

For fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, extending the valve neck is recommended. The permissible fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type; limits are specified in the actuator data sheets.
