Belimo R512 – 3-way control valve

A valve with a regulating orifice for open and closed water systems. Designed for water-side control in ventilation and heating systems.

Key features and specifications

• Pattern: 3-way; DN 15; PN 40.
• Pipe connection: G 1" male thread in accordance with ISO 228-1.
• Kvs: 2.5 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water, water with up to 50% by volume glycol; medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal-percentage; B – AB linear.
• Permissible leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.
• Rotation angle: 90°.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, extending the valve neck is recommended. The permissible medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are specified in the actuator data sheets. The valve can be mounted with the stem from vertical to horizontal, but not with the stem pointing downwards.
