Belimo R517 – valve with regulating insert

3-way ball valve for open and closed water systems. The body is made of nickel-plated brass, and the pipe connection has a male thread.

Key features and specifications

• DN 20, PN 40; G 1 1/4" male thread.
• Kvs 4 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water, water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol.
• Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F]. At -10...2°C, a valve neck extension is recommended; the permissible range may depend on the actuator type.
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal-percentage, B – AB linear.
• Leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
• Rotation angle: 90°.

Installation notes

Permissible installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem. Do not install with the stem pointing downwards. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.
