Belimo R529 – 3-way control valve

Ball valve with a regulating orifice, designed for flow control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. It can be used in open and closed water systems.

• Pattern: 3-way; DN 32; PN 40.
• Connection: G 2" male thread.
• Kvs: 10 m³/h.
• Medium: water, water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal percentage, B – AB linear.
• Leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage rate class A; B – AB leakage rate class I, 1...2% of Kvs value.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.

Installation notes

Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. For fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may be limited depending on the actuator type; refer to the actuator's data sheet for limitations.
