Belimo R532 – changeover ball valve

3-way valve with male thread for changeover and open/close control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. Designed for open and closed water systems.

Key features

• DN 32; G 2" male threaded connection; PN 25; ps 1600 kPa.
• Kvs 32 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: approximately 50% of the Kvs value.
• Fluid: water and water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol; drinking water on request.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax 400 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa. 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
• Tightness A – AB: air-bubble-tight, leakage rate class A; B – AB: leakage rate class I, max. 1% of the Kvs value.
• Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.
• Rotation angle: 90°.

Installation notes

Permitted installation from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; do not install with the stem pointing downwards. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.

For fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are specified in the actuator data sheets.
