6-way regulating ball valve with a regulating orifice and female thread. Two cooling and heating sequences are controlled by a single 90° rotary actuator.

Key features and specifications

• DN 15; Rp 1/2" connection, female thread to ISO 7-1; PN 16.
• Kvs (sequence I): 1.3 m³/h; Kvs (sequence II): 0.25 m³/h.
• Medium: water, water with up to 50% vol. glycol; medium temperature: 6...80°C [43...176°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 100 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps: 350 kPa; quiet operation Δpv100 <50 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: linear. Permissible leakage: bubble-tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
• Rotational angle: 90°; sequence 1: 0...30° (cooling recommended), dead zone: 30...60°, sequence 2: 60...90° (heating recommended).
• Nickel-plated brass body, chrome-plated brass closing element, stainless steel regulating orifice.

Application and installation

The valve is used for switching or analogue control of water flow in heating and cooling elements of closed-circuit water systems. It is designed for stationary heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

Permissible installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the spindle. Do not install the valve with the axis pointing downwards.
