Analog rotary actuator with safety function for ball valves and butterfly valves. Motor torque and safety function torque are 20 Nm; power supply AC/DC 24 V, operating range Y 0.5...10 V.

In the event of a power failure, the spring return sets the valve to the closed position. The actuator has two built-in auxiliary switches 2x SPDT and an enclosure with IP54 protection rating.

Belimo SRF24A-SZ-S2 – rotary actuator with safety function

Analog actuator designed for ball valves and butterfly valves. During operation, it sets the valve to the operating position and tensions the return spring. After a power interruption, the spring sets the valve to the safe position: valve closed (A–AB = 0%).

Operation and installation

Direct installation on a ball valve is possible using one screw; the position relative to the valve can be changed in 90° increments. Manual operation is performed using a crank and locking switch. The rotation angle is adjusted using mechanical end stops.
