Thermal energy meter for measuring energy in a closed heating or cooling circuit. DN 15, PN 25, qp 1.5 m³/h model measures flow ultrasonically and measures temperature.

AC/DC 24 V power supply; communication via BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MP-Bus and Cloud. Supports automatic glycol content compensation.

Belimo 22PE-1UC – thermal energy meter

The device calculates thermal energy based on volumetric flow and the temperature difference in a closed heating or cooling circuit. It can operate as a heat meter, cooling meter or combined heating and cooling meter.

Key features and specifications

  • DN 15, PN 25; G 3/4" external thread in accordance with ISO 228-1.
  • Nominal flow qp 1.5 m³/h, maximum flow qs 3 m³/h and minimum flow qi 0.015 m³/h.
  • Ultrasonic flow measurement; measured values: flow and temperature.
  • Medium: water or water with up to max. 60% vol. glycol; automatic glycol content measurement and compensation for its effect on energy measurement.
  • AC/DC 24 V power supply; can also be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet).
  • Communication: BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MP-Bus and Cloud; M-Bus via G-22PEM-A01 converter.
  • Voltage output: 1 x 0...10 V, 0.5...10 V, 2...10 V.
  • Configuration via Belimo Assistant 2 or the integrated web server; NFC interface.
  • Insulation cover for DN 15...25 included; according to the documentation, the insulation cover is not included in the Asia Pacific region.
