Belimo BFN230/300 spring-return actuator for 90° fire and smoke dampers. AC 230 V supply, Close/Open control, motor torque 9 Nm and safety function torque 7 Nm.

Mechanical interface: 12x12 mm form-fit connection with a through hollow shaft. Two auxiliary switches 2x SPDT signal the end positions.

Belimo BFN230/300

Spring-return actuator for 90° fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. During operation, the motor moves the damper to its operating position and tensions the return spring. If the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the damper to its safety position.

  • Motor direction selected by L/R mounting; manual override with position stop.
  • Power and control connection: 3 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free); auxiliary switch connection: 3 m cable, 6x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free).
  • IP54 protection rating; IEC/EN protection class II, reinforced insulation.
  • Mechanical position indicator; hand crank, indicator and protective cover included.

Electrical data note: The technical datasheet specifies power consumption of 4.5 W during operation, 2W at rest and 9 VA for wire sizing. Other supplied data lists different values: 3.5 W, 1.3 W and 6.5 VA, respectively.
