Belimo R250PW-S – ball valve for drinking water

2-way Open/Close ball valve designed for stationary drinking water installations. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an Open/Close signal.

Key features and specifications

• DN 50; PN 25; Kvs 150 m³/h.
• Connection: Rp 2" female thread in accordance with ISO 7-1.
• Fluid: drinking water; fluid temperature: 5...100°C [41...212°F].
• Closing pressure: ∆ps 1600 kPa; maximum differential pressure for DN 50: ∆pmax 130 kPa.
• Tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A.
• Drinking water certificates: ACS, DVGW, KIWA, PZH, WRAS, ÜA.
• Body and stem: lead-free, dezincification-resistant CW511L brass (ISO 6509); ball made of the same brass, chrome-plated.
• Stem seal: EPDM; seat: PTFE.
• Rotation angle: 90°; opens counter-clockwise and closes clockwise.

Installation and operating instructions

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem. Installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. The valve must be operated at least once a week to prevent deterioration in drinking water quality and functionality. The valve and rotary actuator are maintenance-free.
