Belimo 22PEM-1UC thermal energy meter for measuring energy in a heating or cooling circuit. It uses ultrasonic flow measurement and temperature sensors; as a heat meter, it has MID approval and meets the requirements of EN 1434.

DN 15, qp 1.5 m³/h, PN 25, AC/DC 24 V or PoE power supply. Supports BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU and MP-Bus, plus a voltage output of 1 x 0...10 V, 0.5...10 V, 2...10 V.

Belimo 22PEM-1UC thermal energy meter

The device determines thermal energy based on volumetric flow and the temperature difference. It can operate as a heat, cooling or heating and cooling meter; the appropriate mode is set during commissioning. MID approval applies to use as a heat meter. When used as a cooling meter, local regulations must be observed.

Main features and specifications

  • Ultrasonic flow measurement; measured values: flow and temperature.
  • DN 15; G 3/4" male threaded connection; PN 25; medium: water.
  • Nominal flow qp 1.5 m³/h, maximum qs 3 m³/h, minimum qi 0.015 m³/h.
  • AC/DC 24 V power supply; PoE (Power over Ethernet) power supply is also possible.
  • Communication: BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MP-Bus.
  • Voltage output: 1 x 0...10 V, 0.5...10 V, 2...10 V.
  • LCD; configuration via NFC with Belimo Assistant 2 or via the integrated web server.
  • Insulation cover for DN 15...25 included; the data sheet specifies an exception for deliveries to the Asia-Pacific region.

The meter consists of a logic module and a sensor module. One temperature sensor is integrated into the flow sensor, and the other is an external sensor. The device can be installed on the supply or return pipe.
