Belimo BFL230 is a spring return actuator for fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. AC 230 V supply, Close/Open control and torque of 4 Nm / 3 Nm.

Equipped with two auxiliary switches 2x SPDT, mechanical position indication and a 12x12 mm form-fit connection with a hollow through shaft.

Belimo BFL230 actuator

A spring return actuator designed for 90° fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. When powered, it moves the damper to the operating position and tensions the spring; when power is interrupted, the spring energy moves the damper to the safety position.

  • Rated voltage AC 230 V; frequency 50/60 Hz; voltage range AC 198...264 V.
  • Close/Open control; motor torque 4 Nm and safety function torque 3 Nm.
  • Motor running time <60 s / 90°; safety function running time 20 s @ -10...55°C, <60 s @ -30...-10°C.
  • Max. rotation angle 95°; motor direction of movement selected by L/R mounting.
  • Two auxiliary switches 2x SPDT with switching points 5° / 80° and a mechanical position indicator.
  • Mechanical connection: 12x12 mm form-fit connection, hollow through shaft.
  • 1 m power and control cable, 2x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free); 1 m auxiliary switch cable, 6x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free).
  • Degree of protection IP54; IEC/EN protection class II, reinforced insulation.
  • Manual adjustment with position stop; mechanical safety position lock Safety Position Lock™.

Included: hand crank, position indicator, protective bag and 12/10 mm form-fit insert. The actuator is adapted and mounted on the damper by the damper manufacturer; according to the technical data sheet, it is supplied directly to manufacturers of safety dampers.
