Belimo BFL230/300 – actuator for fire and smoke dampers
Spring-return actuator designed for 90° fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. During operation, the motor moves the damper to its operating position and tensions the return spring. If the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the damper to its safety position.

- Nominal supply AC 230 V, 50/60 Hz; voltage range AC 198...264 V.
- Open/close control; motor torque 4 Nm, safety function torque 3 Nm.
- Motor running time <60 s / 90°; safety function running time 20 s @ -10...55°C, <60 s @ -30...-10°C.
- Two auxiliary switches 2x SPDT with switching points at 5° / 80°.
- 12x12 mm form-fit connection with a through hollow shaft; maximum rotation angle 95°.
- Motor direction of rotation selected by L/R mounting; manual adjustment with a position stop.
- Mechanical position indicator; Safety Position Lock™ holds the damper in the safety position in the event of a fire.
- Degree of protection IP54; IEC/EN protection class II, reinforced insulation.
Connections and accessories
Power and control connection: 3 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free). Auxiliary switch connection: 3 m cable, 6x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free). Included: manual crank, indicator, protective bag and 12/10 mm form-fit insert.
The actuator is adapted and mounted on the damper by the damper manufacturer. According to the documentation, it is supplied directly to manufacturers of safety dampers.
