The SMD24A is a damper actuator for controlling dampers in technical building systems. According to the technical data sheet, it is designed for air dampers with an area of up to approx. 3.2 m².

• Torque: 16 Nm; rated voltage: AC/DC 24 V, 50/60 Hz.
• Control: Open/Close, 3-point; motor running time: 20 s / 90°.
• Direction of rotation selected by switch: 0 (counterclockwise) / 1 (clockwise).
• Angle of rotation: max. 95°, with the option of limiting it on both sides using mechanical stops.
• Manual override using a push-button with locking option; mechanical position indicator.
• Reversible universal mounting clamp 10...20 mm; power and control connection: 1 m cable, 3x 0.75 mm².
• Power consumption during operation: 4 W; at rest: 0.5 W; power consumption for cable sizing: 6.5 VA.
• Degree of protection IEC/EN: IP54; protection class IEC/EN: III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).

The actuator can be mounted directly on the damper shaft using the clamp; an anti-rotation mechanism is supplied with the device. The actuator is overload-protected and stops automatically when it reaches the stop.
