Thermal energy meter for measuring energy in a closed heating or cooling circuit. Measures flow using ultrasonic technology and temperature; automatically compensates for the glycol content in the medium.

DN 25, PN 25, qp 3.5 m³/h, G 1 1/4" male thread, AC/DC 24 V supply. Supports BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MP-Bus and Cloud.

Belimo 22PE-1UE – thermal energy meter

The device determines thermal energy based on volumetric flow and the temperature difference between the supply and return in a closed heating or cooling circuit. It has an integrated T2 temperature sensor and an external T1 sensor.

Key features and specifications

  • Ultrasonic flow measurement; measured values: flow and temperature.
  • DN 25, PN 25; G 1 1/4" male thread in accordance with ISO 228-1.
  • Nominal flow qp 3.5 m³/h, maximum qs 7 m³/h, minimum qi 0.035 m³/h.
  • Medium: water or water with a maximum of 60% vol. glycol; automatic compensation for glycol content.
  • Nominal voltage AC/DC 24 V; can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet).
  • Communication: BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MP-Bus, Cloud; M-Bus via G-22PEM-A01 converter.
  • Voltage output: 1 x 0...10 V, 0.5...10 V, 2...10 V.
  • Configuration via Belimo Assistant 2 or the integrated web server; NFC interface.
  • Medium temperature -20...120°C; sensor module protection rating IP65.
  • Includes an insulating shell for DN 15...25 meters; according to the technical data sheet, the shell is not included in the Asia Pacific region.
