Belimo BF230 spring-return actuator for 90° fire and smoke control dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. AC 230 V supply, Close/Open control, motor torque of 18 Nm and safety function torque of 12 Nm.

When the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the damper to the safety position. The actuator has 2x SPDT for position indication and a 12x12 mm form-fit connection.

Belimo BF230 – actuator for fire dampers

BF230 is a spring-return actuator for 90° fire and smoke control dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. While the motor is running, the damper moves to the operating position and the spring is tensioned. When the power supply is interrupted, the spring energy moves the damper to the safety position.

  • Close/Open control; motor direction of movement selected by L/R mounting.

  • Auxiliary switches: 2x SPDT, switching points 5° / 80°; mechanical position indicator.
  • Power consumption while running: 8 W; at rest: 3 W; sizing power: 12.5 VA.
  • Mechanical connection: 12x12 mm form-fit connection, non-through hollow shaft. Maximum rotation angle: 95°.
  • Manual override with position stop; IP54 protection rating and IEC/EN II protection class, reinforced insulation.
