Belimo BFL24 actuator

BFL24 is a spring-return actuator for 90° fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air conditioning systems. During operation, the motor moves the damper to the operating position and tensions the spring; when the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves it to the safety position.

Key features

• AC/DC 24 V supply; Close/Open control.
• Motor torque 4 Nm; safety function torque 3 Nm.
• Motor running time <60 s / 90°; safety function running time 20 s @ -10...55°C and <60 s @ -30...-10°C.
• Rotation angle: max. 95°; motor direction of movement selected by L/R mounting.
• Two auxiliary switches 2x SPDT with switching points 5° / 80° and a mechanical position indicator.
• Mechanical connection: 12x12 mm form-fit connection, hollow through-shaft.
• Manual adjustment with position stop; mechanical Safety Position Lock™ for the safety position.
• Degree of protection IP54; IEC/EN protection class III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Power and control connection: 1 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free); auxiliary switch connection: 1 m cable, 6x 0.75 mm² (halogen-free).

Included: manual crank, indicator, protective cover and 12/10 mm form-fit insert. According to the documentation, the actuator is supplied directly to safety damper manufacturers, who adapt it and install it on the damper.
