Belimo EXT-H640XP-900 - pressure-independent 2-way globe valve
Belimo EXT-H640XP-900 2-way globe valve with mechanical control independent of pressure changes. DN 40, PN 25, flange connection and V'nom 3.00 l/s.
Designed for closed water circuits (pH >7) and district heating networks. Fluid temperature: 5...140°C [41...284°F].
Belimo EXT-H640XP-900 – technical data
Pressure-independent 2-way globe valve with a mechanical differential pressure controller and a control valve designed for a Belimo actuator. The controller compensates for pressure fluctuations and maintains a constant differential pressure across the control valve. Correct flow control requires the minimum differential pressure across the valve to be maintained.
- Nominal diameter DN 40; nominal pressure PN 25.
- Flange connection in accordance with EN 1092-2.
- V'nom: 3.00 l/s (11 m³/h); theoretical Kvs value: 20 m³/h; stroke: 13 mm.
- Fluid: water or water with a maximum of 30% by volume glycol; fluid temperature 5...140°C [41...284°F].
- Maximum differential pressure across the control valve: 1500 kPa. To prevent cavitation, ∆pmax must be calculated in accordance with the design notes.
- Flow characteristic: equal percentage; allowable leakage: max. 0.05% of the Kvs value.
- Body: EN-GJS-400-18-LT (GGG 40.3), with protective coating.
- Permitted installation position: vertical to ±45° relative to the stem.
The valve is designed for stationary heating installations. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.
