Belimo SMQ24A damper actuator

The SMQ24A is used to position dampers in building services systems. According to the technical data sheet, it is intended for air dampers with an area of up to approx. 3.2 m². Close/Open control is not suitable for 3-point control.

  • Torque: 16 Nm; rated voltage: AC/DC 24 V; frequency: 50/60 Hz.
  • Motor running time: 7 s / 90°; rotation angle: max. 95°, with adjustable mechanical stops on both sides. Minimum permitted rotation angle: 30°.
  • Direction of movement selected by switch 0 (counterclockwise) / 1 (clockwise).
  • Manual override by push-button with locking option; mechanical plug-on position indicator.
  • Reversible universal clamp 12...26.7 mm; connection cable 1 m, 3x 0.75 mm².
  • Power consumption during movement: 15 W; at rest: 2 W; power rating for cable sizing: 26 VA.
  • Degree of protection IEC/EN: IP54; protection class IEC/EN: III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
  • Ambient temperature: -30...40°C [-22...104°F].

The actuator has overload protection and stops automatically when the end position is reached. Adaptation is required after commissioning and after every change to the rotation angle.
