Belimo EF24A-MP communicating rotary actuator for dampers with a safety function provided by a return spring. Torque 30 Nm, AC/DC 24 V power supply and MP-Bus communication. If the power supply fails, the spring moves the damper to the safety position.

The motor running time is 150 s / 90°, adjustable within the range 60...150 s. The actuator supports 2...10 V analogue control and is fitted with a universal clamp for shafts 12...26.7 mm.

Belimo EF24A-MP – actuator for dampers

This communicating rotary actuator with a safety function is designed to control dampers in stationary heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. During operation, the drive positions the damper and tensions the return spring. If the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the damper to the safety position.

In analogue mode, voltage U indicates the damper position. When operating via MP-Bus, connection U serves as the communication interface and does not provide an analogue measurement voltage. The actuator also allows connection of a passive or active sensor, or a switching contact, and transmission of its signal via MP-Bus.
