Belimo NKQ24A-SZ – rotary actuator for dampers

Continuous rotary actuator with a safety function, designed for positioning dampers in building services equipment. During operation, it charges the built-in capacitors and, if the power supply fails, uses the stored energy to move the damper to the safety position.

• Air dampers with an area of up to approx. 1.2 m²; motor torque 6 Nm.
• Rated voltage AC/DC 24 V; power consumption during operation 11 W, in standby 3 W; rated power 22 VA.
• Operating range Y 0.5...10 V and feedback signal U 0.5...10 V.
• Motor running time 4 s / 90°; safety function running time 4 s / 90°.
• Safety position (POP) adjustable within 0...100%, in increments of 10%.
• Max. rotation angle 95°, with limitation possible on both sides; minimum rotation angle 30°.
• Manual adjustment using a button; motor direction selected by a 0/1 switch.
• Universal clamp 8...26.7 mm and 1 m power / control cable, 4x 0.75 mm².
• Enclosure protection rating IP54; ambient temperature -30...50°C [-22...122°F].

The actuator is intended for stationary heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The capacitors are supplied fully discharged; before commissioning, they require charging for approximately 15 s.
